About
Digital Marque
Built during a crisis. Grown through the work.
Who we are
Digital Marque started in 2020, the way a lot of good South African businesses start: out of necessity, during a crisis, with nothing but a skill set and the determination to make it work.
A retrenchment just before COVID lockdown turned into a freelance design and web business, which turned into a proper company. Each new client brought new problems to solve. Each new problem built a new capability. Websites led to branding. Branding led to print. A client in the GRC-A space led to a deep specialisation in governance, risk, and compliance. Axiom Risk is what that specialisation became.
Today Digital Marque runs three formal divisions. Not because it was the plan from day one, but because the work demanded it, and we had the range to deliver it.
What hasn't changed is the approach: we figure out what you actually need, and we build that. Not a generic package. Not a templated solution that mostly fits.
Something that works in your environment, for your business, right now.

Our three divisions
Digital.
Website design and development, hosted on South African infrastructure, with ongoing care and support built in. We build for the long term, not just the launch.
Print.
Our Print division trades as DTF Prints, operating from dtfprints.co.za. We supply made-to-order direct-to-film transfers and custom apparel to creators, brands, and businesses across South Africa.
Solutions.
Our consulting and platforms division. We deliver GRC-A consulting aligned to ISO 31000, build custom Airtable systems, and develop the Axiom suite, starting with Axiom Risk, our enterprise risk management platform.
How we work
We say what we mean.
Quotes are real. Timelines are honoured. If something changes, we tell you before you notice it.
We build for durability.
Quick fixes aren't our model. Whether it's a website, a print system, or a risk framework, we build with the next few years in mind.
We understand the local context.
South Africa's business environment, regulatory landscape, and operational realities shape everything we build. We're not applying a global template to a local problem.
